Adam Balaban brings 25 years of experience to Balaban Architects. He is fluent in all phases of project delivery from planning/programming, design, and construction. Adam’s leadership style is confident, energetic and empathetic which lends itself naturally to building consensus.
As a designer, his talent and passion are evident in every project in the search for beauty and rigor. His technical expertise is shown in the many complex projects across the globe. His varied experience allows him to be a true leader of design, helping to develop all systems within a project. Adam is a strong project manager who embraces teamwork and collaboration. His innovative management techniques allow greater time to be dedicated to project design.
As a leader in the “lean design” community, his expertise in project management compliments his passion for design.

Having served on the Board of the Colorado Community of Practice for the Lean Construction Industry (LCI), Adam Balaban is a leader in “lean” design and construction, and dedicated to improving the system to restore trust and faith in our clients.
Adam earned a Bachelor’s degree in Design from the University of Florida and a Master’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Adam is a licensed architect in the state of Colorado.
